In the panel discussion session, the speakers talked about the impact of the digitization trend on the distribution business, from opportunities, threats, risks and potential for disruption if the distributor does not follow the digitalization trend, while answering questions directly from the participants. 

“Disruption or uncertainty is happening now if the dis.tributor does not adapt to technology that can make the company efficient in doing business. In that case, the distributor will surely experience difficulties,” said one of the panelists, Anas Bachtiar, Sales Force Effectiveness Manager in Wyeth Nutrition Indonesia. 

“Many of these distributors have experienced internal problems, such as manipulation problems. “Data manipulation & financial manipulation” is a nightmare for them, which mostly they can’t handle well. The solution is to ensure that all databases, from the logistics, financial, distribution and human resources aspects, are integrated into one technological unit.” Anas added.
